Buttermilk Pie!

This recipe was easy to make and tastes oh so good.  One of my close friends recommended this recipe to me when I told her of the left over buttermilk in my fridge.

3 eggs
1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 Tbs flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbs lemon juice
1/8 tsp cinnamon

9 in pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Beat the eggs.  Add butter, sugar, and flour.  Beat it all together.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and pour into the pie shell.

Place aluminum foil around the edge of the crust, so it does not burn.

Now my pie took a little over an hour to cook all the way through, but your oven may take less time.  Be sure to test it.  The center of the pie needs to be firm.

Let it cool and enjoy!
