Comfort Food

Sometimes, after a long hard day at work, you need a little comfort.  It's getting chilly at night and all I want is some warm noodles covered in cheese!  Warning: This is not healthy food night.

Say what?!

Thanks Dad for the yummy recipe!

How to make the cheese sauce:

Melt:
3 Tablespoons Butter
1.5 Tablespoons Corn Starch

Stir!

Add:
1 1/2 cups Milk slowly
1 1/2 cups Cheese

Stir!

It will look like this...mmm...

Once the cheese is all melted and the sauce has thickened, add it to 1 lb cooked Macaroni.

Steam shot!

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for twenty minutes.

Yes, those are sliced hot dogs in the mac and cheese.

What do you add to your mac and cheese?  We had some leftover hot dogs, so I threw them it at the last minute.  They added some flavor to the dish.

Tomorrow I will go back to making healthy eating choices.*
